Position Summary:

The Lead Yard/Fabricator Associate supports the successful operations of the business by assisting in the day-to-day operations of the yard and fabrication area.  

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• PVC routing, loading, cutting, and cycle counts.
• Assures that the yard is in good, safe, well-maintained condition
• Checks work orders to ensure that the appropriate equipment is staged for loading.
• Assists customers by filling orders and loading trucks.
• Inspects returned equipment for damage during the rental period.
• Maintains a checklist of equipment status.
• Ensures safe work habits for all staff through supervision and training.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Manager.

Requirements

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School diploma
• PVC router or fence industry experience is highly preferred
• 1-year experience preferred
• Experience in distribution, shipping, and receiving
• Knowledge of equipment utilization and safety requirements
• Personal and professional integrity
• A clear understanding of the necessity of equipment safety and integrity
• Use of tools and equipment
