Lead Steel Welder (MIG) – $27–$30/hr | Mon–Fri Day Shift
Location: Lancaster County, PA
Pay: $27–$30 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Lead Steel Welder to join our team. This role is ideal for a skilled welder with strong leadership abilities who can mentor team members, ensure high-quality fabrication, and help drive efficient production workflows.
You will play a key role in leading daily welding operations, maintaining quality standards, and supporting team development in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and support welders and fabricators on the production floor
- Perform MIG welding on structural steel components and trailer assemblies
- Interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and fabrication specifications
- Set up and adjust jigs, fixtures, and welding equipment
- Ensure all welds meet quality, safety, and production standards
- Assist with production scheduling and workflow coordination
- Train new welders and troubleshoot fabrication or welding issues
- Inspect completed welds and perform corrections when needed
- Collaborate with supervisors and cross-functional teams (assembly, fabrication, etc.)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while enforcing PPE standards

Qualifications
- Proven experience in MIG welding (structural steel preferred)
- Previous leadership or lead welder experience strongly preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong understanding of fabrication processes and shop equipment
- Commitment to safety, quality, and team development
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
