This position is responsible for assisting the Supervisor in coordination of the daily responsibilities of the department by ensuring the Supervisor’s instructions are communicated to the team members and carried out timely and correctly. This position will also monitor all equipment to insure it is working properly and notify the supervisor of any needed maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Assist Supervisor in day-to-day operations of debone operation. Job Synopsis: Primary tasks include department set-up; ensure USDA, production and HACCP requirements are met in area. Assist supervisor with monitoring shoulder cuts, mechanical issues with debones and meat supply. Make decisions on staffing assignments based upon product flow, product mix and attendance. Other responsibilities include relieving line personnel as needed, fill-in for absenteeism as necessary, wash down at breaks, and insure general housekeeping. Fill in for Supervisor in their absence.

The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Requirements:

Must have at least six months of lead experience with a single employer within the last 12 months.

This position pays $18.40/hr with a $1.00 shift increase for 2nd Shift
