Job Title: Lead Material Handler
Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Reports To: Supply Chain Manager
Position Summary
Bridor USA is seeking a Lead Material Handler with strong forklift experience to join our team. This role requires hands-on experience operating sit-down, stand-up, and reach trucks and the ability to work in cold environments ranging from 40°F to -10°F, including freezer areas. You will oversee material handling operations, manage inventory, and lead a team to ensure raw materials and packaging are delivered safely, accurately, and on time, while maintaining Bridor’s high standards for quality, safety, and GMP compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
Lead, train, and coach Material Handling team members on safety, SOPs, and GMP standards
Maintain Train-the-Trainer forklift certification and provide ongoing forklift training
Address performance issues and escalate to the Supply Chain Manager as needed
Promote teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement
Material Handling & Inventory Management
Safely operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks), pallet jacks, hand trucks, and scissor lifts
Prepare and stage raw materials according to production orders
Oversee receipt, inspection, labeling, and documentation of incoming materials in Bridor’s paperless system
Manage returns of unused materials, ensuring proper labeling and reporting
Maintain dry, refrigerated, and freezer storage areas per Bridor protocols
Perform SAP transactions including receipts, stock movements, and inventory adjustments
Compliance & Safety
Follow GMP, hygiene, and food safety protocols
Participate in audits and training (GMP, HACCP, Radley, SAP)
Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
Coordinate incoming parcel deliveries as needed

Work in cold environments (40°F to -10°F), including freezer areas, refrigerated coolers, or outdoors in heat, cold, rain, snow, or wind
Ability to read and record data from thermometers, LCD screens, truck seals, and other equipment
Education & Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year in a leadership role
Minimum 2 years of forklift experience, including sit-down, stand-up, and reach trucks
Experience with warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and scissor lifts
