As Lead Manufacturing Engineer, you will provide support for solving complex technical problems that arise in manufacturing production. Working with leading-edge technology, you will make key decisions, resolve issues and oversee projects to shape enhancements. You’ll unite cross-functional teams to connect, share knowledge, innovate and to develop improvements.

As a Lead Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing technical guidance for manufacturing processes to support sustaining activities as well as continuous process improvement including automation and implementation of lean principles.
  • Designing, constructing, and documenting mechatronic processes and fixtures to enable quality product builds
  • Collaborating with global cross-functional teams to troubleshoot, resolve, innovate and implement manufacturing technology best practices
  • Developing a yearly operational plan to define capital expenditures to support activities and projects
  • Sharing practical technical knowledge with your team to guide, advise, and enable solutions to problems

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, industrial, mechatronics, or electrical engineering or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Manufacturing.
  • Have knowledge of design for manufacturability, lean manufacturing techniques, quality system and SPC tools.
  • Have a minimum of 5 additional years of experience in Production Process and Equipment.
  • Be a good team player and display good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Can coordinate several projects simultaneously
  • Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact
