Lead Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician

Pay Range:
- $34 – $38 per hour (based on experience)
Shift:
- 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Rotating 2-2-3 Schedule (Off Every Other Weekend)
Position Overview
The Lead Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing advanced troubleshooting and repairs while also
providing on-shift leadership, guidance, and coordination for the maintenance team. This individual will serve as the go-to resource on nights, ensuring work is prioritized effectively and completed safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and support maintenance technicians on 3rd shift; assign and prioritize daily work
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment including 3-phase motors, pumps, valves, gas-fired ovens, and presses
- Oversee and participate in daily and weekly preventative maintenance (PM) activities
- Read and interpret hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics
- Perform welding and light fabrication (MIG or Stick)
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, including LOTO procedures
- Minimize equipment downtime through efficient diagnostics and team coordination
- Act as the primary point of contact between production and maintenance during the shift
- Assist with training and onboarding of new technicians
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities for process optimization
Qualifications
- Minimum 4–5+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
- Previous lead, supervisory, or team lead experience in a maintenance environment required
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with 3-phase power systems
- Welding and fabrication experience (MIG or Stick required)
- Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and schematics
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work a rotating 2-2-3 schedule (12-hour shifts)
