Job Description:
The Maintenance Lead is responsible for managing the maintenance and repair of all equipment and facility needs at the location including but not limited to plumbing, carpentry, plastering, machine servicing, conveyor maintenance and electrical. Provide maintenance support for all production cells to maximize up-time, minimize scrap and drive continuous improvements and quality standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
Direct the design, development and continuous execution of maintenance systems, such as preventive and predictive maintenance systems, reliability centered maintenance and computerized maintenance management systems
Perform reliability support, investigations, studies and presentations requiring a high degree of knowledge of automation and robotic systems and operations
Help develop budgets and forecasts and integrate into negotiation process
Provide analysis and recommendations for equipment repair and maintenance projects
Act as technical resource for manufacturing, maintenance, and engineering and as a backup for maintenance technicians
Troubleshoot and correct setups, tooling, and malfunctions
Operate personnel lifts
Perform all repairs and adaptions of equipment, such as; changing air, grease and coolant lines, switches, belts, guards
Fabricate miscellaneous items out of wood, metal and Plexiglas
Build or fabricate devices to improve quality and production
Use hand and power tools
Move equipment
Plumbing, welding, construction of metal/wood, brazing, soldering, maintenance and inventory supply check in / out using CMMS system
Manage maintenance supplies and maintain supply inventory
Order spare parts and supplies and rebuild machines as required
Routine electronic machine maintenance and upkeep
Replace electrical motors and components
Wire machines
Install new equipment
Design components and fabricate
Design and install guarding
Troubleshoot and replace electronic boards and digital and analog CNC drives
Basic Robotics
Train team members
Adhere to all safety requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Understand and follow verbal and written instructions, as well as drawings and blueprints
Certified fork lift operator
PLC Maintenance
Welding
Industrial electricity/wiring
Education and Experience Requirements
40 semester hours of industrial Trade Training or 5 years general maintenance experience
Qualified electrician and basic electronics
PLC experience
