Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Lead Maintenance Technician to join our team in Madison, IN. As a key player in our facility, you will oversee maintenance operations, ensuring that all equipment and systems run smoothly and efficiently.

2nd Shift 5pm-5am, Monday-Thursday

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues as they arise.
• Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Train and mentor junior technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Assist in the development of maintenance budgets and resource allocation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in maintenance or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a maintenance technician, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical systems
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with maintenance management software is a plus.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including on-call duties as needed.
