Maintenance Team Lead

• Springdale, OH
• $36 p/h - $38 p/h + $1 Shift Differential
• Night Shift (10pm - 6am) Wednesday - Sunday
• Plastics Manufacturer

This role suits a hands-on Maintenance Lead Technician with strong electrical and mechanical skills in a manufacturing environment, ideally plastics or extrusion. Must have leadership experience, able to manage a small team while staying on the tools and troubleshooting equipment. Needs to be confident working independently on night shift, driving uptime, safety, and continuous improvement.

Duties as an Maintenance Team Lead:

• Supervise and lead 2–3 maintenance technicians on night shift
• Perform hands-on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, repairs, and PMs
• Train and mentor team members to support skill development
• Diagnose and resolve issues across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Prioritize and assign maintenance tasks to support production needs
• Maintain records of maintenance, parts usage, and downtime
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
• Support continuous improvement and equipment upgrades

Qualifications & Experience required:

• Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience (covering both electrical and mechanical).
• At least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a maintenance environment.
• Background in manufacturing, ideally plastics, extrusion, or similar industry.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and repair skills, with the ability to also work confidently on mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on the night shift.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring abilities.
