Lead Low Voltage Technician / PLT Waconia, MN | $38–$42/hr | M–F, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Established commercial and industrial electrical contractor in the Twin Cities area is hiring a Lead Power-Limited Technician to take medium-to-large commercial low-voltage projects from kickoff to closeout. Healthcare buildings, commercial spaces, industrial facilities — real work, real budgets, real responsibility.

What you'll actually do day-to-day

• Run pre-install walkthroughs with the PM, lay out cable routes, build the plan
• Pull, terminate, test, and troubleshoot CAT6/6A, coax, and fiber
• Install lighting controls, structured cabling, paging, and camera systems
• Build out telecom rooms — racks, ladder rack, cabinets, clean cable management
• Read and red-line large commercial blueprints
• Lead apprentices on-site and run small-to-mid commercial buildings as the job lead
• Hit the schedule, stay on budget, leave it certified and labeled

What you bring

• 4–5+ years pulling CAT6 and fiber in commercial environments
• Active PLT license (required — Minnesota Power Limited Technician)
• Valid driver's license
• BICSI INST1 / INSTC / INSTF a plus (we'll pay to get them if you don't have them)
• OSHA 10
• Self-motivated, can run a job without somebody standing over your shoulder
