Job Overview:

Industrial Field Service Lead / Foreman

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Industrial Field Service Lead / Foreman to join our team in Winchester, VA. This position is responsible for leading a field crew while managing industrial service projects at customer locations. The ideal candidate has experience running a service truck, supervising crews, and performing fabrication, rigging, millwright work, equipment installations, and plant maintenance. This individual should be a strong leader who prioritizes safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a field service crew on industrial job sites
  • Coordinate daily job assignments and ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently
  • Operate and manage a fully equipped service truck
  • Perform and oversee fabrication, welding, and rigging projects
  • Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial equipment and machinery
  • Execute millwright work, including equipment alignment, assembly, and installation
  • Support plant maintenance projects, shutdowns, and emergency breakdown repairs
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
  • Communicate directly with customers to provide updates and ensure quality service
  • Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and OSHA regulations
  • Train and mentor crew members while maintaining a productive work environment

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of industrial field service or maintenance experience preferred
  • Previous experience leading a crew or working as a Foreman required
  • Experience running a service truck and managing field operations
  • Strong background in fabrication, welding, rigging, millwright work, equipment installation, and plant maintenance
  • Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment
  • Comfortable working in physically demanding environments, including at heights and in confined spaces when required
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision

Schedule:

The Industrial Services field crew operates on a variable schedule based on customer needs. Most work takes place Monday through Friday, with start times typically between 6:00 AM – 7:00 AM and end times between 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM. Occasional evening, Saturday, and Sunday work may be required during plant shutdowns, emergency service calls, or periods of increased workload.
