We're not looking for someone to simply fill an installer position.
We're looking for someone who can help build our installation department.
One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning is building its Greater Hartford operation, and we're assembling our founding field team.
We're veteran-owned and leadership-driven, with a culture built around accountability, craftsmanship, teamwork, integrity, and taking care of people.

What You'll Do
Lead residential HVAC installations and replacements
Install furnaces, AC systems, heat pumps, air handlers, and related equipment
Complete proper startup and commissioning
Ensure installations meet code, manufacturer, and company standards
Maintain clean, professional job sites
Communicate professionally with homeowners
Prevent callbacks through quality workmanship
Mentor apprentices and developing installers
Help establish and improve installation standards
What We're Looking For
Required
Active Connecticut D-2 or S-2 HVAC Journeyperson License
EPA Section 608 certification
Strong residential HVAC installation experience
Experience with furnaces, AC systems, heat pumps, controls, and system startup
Strong troubleshooting ability
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
A leadership mindset and pride in your craft
Highly valued: EPA Universal, ServiceTitan experience, NATE certification, OSHA training, and experience leading crews or mentoring apprentices.
