Lead HVAC Installer

Pay: $75,000 to $150,000+ per year

We are hiring an experienced Lead HVAC Installer to join a growing residential HVAC team in the Fort Worth market. This role is ideal for installers who take pride in clean work, strong customer service, and doing the job the right way the first time.

What You’ll Do

• Lead residential HVAC installations from start to finish

• Install split systems, package units, furnaces, condensers, and heat pumps

• Perform system startups and testing to ensure proper operation

• Complete refrigerant charging using superheat and subcooling methods

• Perform brazing, pressure testing, evacuation, and proper micron pulls

• Install and modify ductwork with airflow and static pressure awareness

• Install zoning systems and IAQ products including UV lights and media filters

• Troubleshoot electrical wiring and system performance issues

• Maintain clean, organized job sites and complete accurate paperwork

• Communicate professionally with homeowners and team members

Requirements

• 4+ years of residential HVAC installation experience

• Previous Lead Installer experience preferred

• Experience with Trane and Lennox equipment preferred

• Zoning experience required

• Strong understanding of airflow, static pressure, and duct design basics

• Experience with split systems, heat pumps, furnaces, and package units

• Ability to read equipment specifications and basic load calculations

• EPA Certification preferred

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

• Ability to pass background check

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Willingness to work overtime and weekends when needed
