Lockheed Martin Space and Fleet Ballistic Missile Program (FBM) is seeking a dynamic Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support the D5LE2 Program Management Office and serve as the Team Lead for the FBM Program Management HRBP Team. The D5LE2 missile program is the next‑generation evolution of the proven D5LE system, delivering modernized capabilities to our Navy customer. As the D5LE2 HRBP, you will serve as a strategic HR advisor to the program leadership and drive talent management, workforce development, and organizational effectiveness initiatives that enable the program to meet its growing staffing needs, deliver business results, and achieve its long‑range strategic objectives. As the Team Lead for the FBM PMO HRBP Team, you will align the HR Team with the FBM/D5LE2 business objectives by leading the execution of the FBM HR Strategic Priorities, provide coaching and guidance to the HRBPs, as well as ensure the supporting HRBPs are proactively informed of business-critical information to synchronize their efforts across the program.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide direct, day‑to‑day HR support and counsel to the D5LE2 program leadership team, including the Program Director, PLT members, and functional teams.

- Serve as the Team Lead for the FBM Program Management HRBP Team driving HRBP alignment and operational excellence across the program

- Act as a trusted advisor on people‑related risk, employee relations, performance, and compliance issues.

- Partner with the PMO and cross-functional teams to design, execute, and continuously improve organizational structures, workforce plans, and talent strategies to ensure alignment with program milestones and future business needs

- Serve as the primary conduit between the D5LE2 program office and HR COE teams (Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, T&OC, etc.).

- Drive the implementation of proactive adoption of LM performance management, succession planning, and career development programs

- Champion continuous improvement and OneLM adoption, acting as a change agent to embed best practices and LM Enterprise alignment across the program

Basic Qualifications

- Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience Broad HR functional experience in areas such as Total Rewards, Performance Management, Workforce Strategy, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Organizational Development, and/or Labor and Employee Relations

- Demonstrated ability to present to an executive audience

- Demonstrated positive interpersonal skills with the ability to adjust style as needed to develop effective relationships with all levels of leadership, employees, and peers locally and virtually

- Working knowledge of HR systems and best practices.

- Ability to travel as needed.

- Ability to obtain DoD Top Secret Clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required.

Desired skills

- Master’s Degree in Human Resources or related field

- Prior HR Business Partner and/or Labor Relations experience

- Prior experience in a DoD or aerospace environment

- Prior team leadership

- Strong project management and problem-solving skills

- Must demonstrate strong decision making and judgment, oral and written communication, business acumen skills

- SHRM or HRCI certification

Ability to work remotely

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Security Clearance Information

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $95,000 - $167,440. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $109,200 - $189,290. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
