Integration Services is adding a Lead Field Service Tech, responsible for ensuring that all equipment installed at a customer site is in accordance with the as sold system design. The engineer will verify equipment location, and execute equipment check sheets to validate static and dynamic designs are met. The Lead Field Service Tech will generate an action item list for the installation team, and work with them to troubleshoot any issues during system run-in period. The Lead Field Service Tech will generate project site documentation for the installation and commissioning teams. As the subject matter expert, the Lead Field Service Tech will be required to provide training/support/advisement to both in-house and subcontractors who will be hired to provide final commissioning and turn-over support of the equipment and system to the customer during peak periods of implementations.

 

POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, other duties as assigned.

  • Develop and manage the project book and equipment check sheets
  • Travel to site and ensure equipment is in proper location and elevations
  • Execute equipment check sheets and answer any questions the installation team may have
  • Ensure power and comm cables are routed properly
  • Verify system is running per design speed and zone control

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:  

  • Bachelors Degree preferred  
  • 5+ years working in installation, service, or engineering of MHE systems.
  • Strong AutoCAD abilities required
  • Ability to travel domestically 75%+
  • Knowledge of mechanical & electrical fundamental principles
  • MHE installation requirements, process, and procedures
  • Training, delegating and reviewing the work of others

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

While performing the duties of this job, may be frequently required to sit, stand, walk, talk or hear; uses hands to finger, handle, or touch objects or controls.  On occasion, may be required to climb and work in high places, stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. 

The incumbent must occasionally lift, push, or pull up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT: 

The position is an office-based position with regular visits to customer installation sites.
