Daily:
Interfaces with sales, estimating, project management, and operations, as well as the customer (general contractor and architect/engineer) to accomplish the task of engineering package generation, submittal and approval, then supplying the plant with details and information for fabrication and erector with plans and information for construction and for resolving any questions, conflicts or issues in these areas as they may arise May lead two to four designers and one or two entry-level engineers on a project by project basis.
As Needed:
Responsible for generating designs and drawings for the precast concrete system from construction documents consisting of architectural and structural drawings and specifications. Certain projects may be designed from conceptual information only Responsible for managing the design and drafting of several projects at a time, either with internal resources or utilizing outside resources. If internal, the individual will typically self-perform the design or at least the more complex portion of the design if junior level engineers are also involved. Provide sales support as assigned by Engineering Supervisor Responsible for ensuring field inspections on projects are performed. This will include writing Observation Reports along with development and tracking of field repairs Perform other duties as assigned

Job Specifications or Qualifications
Certificates, Licenses, Registration: Registration as a PE Required
Education: College Degree (4-year) is required plus Graduate Degree in Engineering is Preferred and may substitute for 1-year experience
Experience: 6 + years with at least 2 years of industry related experience is preferred
Supervisory Experience: 2+ years
