Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a team of diesel mechanics in daily operations.
Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, and related systems.
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel vehicles.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.
Train and mentor junior mechanics to enhance their skills.
Collaborate with management to improve shop efficiency and workflow.
Order and manage inventory for necessary parts and supplies.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in diesel mechanics, with at least 2 years in a lead role.
Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems and repair techniques.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and leadership abilities.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
ASE certification in diesel technology is a plus.
