Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of CNC machinists, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.
• Set up and operate CNC machines, including lathes and mills, to produce high-quality parts according to specifications.
• Develop and optimize CNC programs for efficiency and accuracy.
• Conduct regular inspections of machined parts to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues.
• Train and mentor junior machinists on best practices and safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety regulations.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in CNC machining, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code, M-code).
• Experience with various CNC machines and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
