**Job Title

**: Lead CNC Lathe MachinistLocation: Pennsauken, NJReports to: Director of Operations

**Position Overview

**

Werko Machine Company is looking for a Lead CNC Lathe Machinist for our climate-controlled job shop in Pennsauken, NJ. This position is for a full-time, 1st shift worker with experience in CNC Programming, Set Up, and Operation. Knowledge of manual or other manufacturing equipment is a plus. The candidate must be organized, dependable, and mechanically skilled for this position. Fluent knowledge of CNC Programming using CAM software is essential to be considered for this position.

**Key

Responsibilities

**

• Responsible for programming and assisting operators with set-up and operation

• Inspect finished product and verify it’s dimensionally correct using a micrometer, caliper or other measuring equipment

• Study and interpret drawings, specifications or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operations and set-up requirements

• Work as a team member meeting a professional standard of cooperation, communication and appearance

• Follow written and verbal procedures for machining and other duties

• Maintain regular attendance and perform duties in a timely manner

• Other responsibilities as assigned

**Preferred Qualifications

**

• Experience with multi-axis CNC machines

• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software

• Experience in a manufacturing environment producing custom or high-precision parts

**Physical Requirements

**

• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift

• Occasional bending, kneeling, and climbing may be required

• Use of protective gear, such as safety glasses, gloves, and ear protection, as needed

**Working Hours

**

• Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, with occasional overtime based on production needs

**Compensation

**

• $34 – 38 Per Hour
