About the Company

We are a well-established remodeling and construction contractor based in Benton Harbor, MI, serving Southwest Michigan. Our work includes residential remodeling, framing, and general construction, with select commercial projects. We’re known for quality craftsmanship and reliable service — and we’re looking for a Lead Carpenter/Framer to join our team.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and manage job sites from start to finish
• Supervise and work along side other carpenters, framers, and laborers
• Perform carpentry and framing tasks with precision and efficiency
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
• Communicate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients
• Keep job sites organized, safe, and productive

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of carpentry and framing experience (residential and/or commercial)
• Previous experience leading crews or running job sites
• Strong knowledge of construction practices, tools, and safety regulations
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Reliable, hardworking, and organized
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying conditions

Preferred:

• Residential remodeling experience
• OSHA safety training or certifications
