As the Lead Administrator, you will be responsible for managing the IT site services for several manufacturing facilities across the Americas region. You will lead a team of about 5 site services technicians. Supervise the day-to-day operations of Help Desk/Site Support. Identify, research, and resolve complex technical problems. Create and manage escalation procedures and ensure service levels are maintained. Document, track, and monitor problems to ensure resolution in a timely manner. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggest improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. May assist higher level supervisor.

You will report to the Manager, Technical Services Integrations and report to our Carpinteria, CA location.

What we’re looking for:

Education: A bachelor's degree in IT, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
Experience: At least 3 years of experience managing a team of IT technicians in manufacturing setup.
Knowledge of ITIL best practices and IT service management tools
Experience with PC, mobile, VDI, network, hosting, and printer technologies and vendors.
Familiarity with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the ability to comply with its requirements for the handling and export of controlled technical data and equipment.

How you will create an impact:

You will lead a team of about 5 site services technicians who provide the following support:

o Deskside & Walk-Up Support for PC, Mobile & VDI

o Mail-Back Support for PC & Mobile

o Conference Room Support

o Desktop, Laptop, Mobile Device & Thin Client Management (receive, stock, issue, redeploy, tracking & disposal services)

o Infrastructure Site Services (local support of data & voice network and hosting services devices led by L3)

o Handheld devices Management

o Site Relationship Management (IT liaison with local site management)

o ELT Support (customized support at select sites)

o Front-Office Printer Management

You will act as a point of contact between the IT department and the local site management, ensuring that the IT services and solutions are aligned with the site's needs and expectations.
You will also communicate and coordinate with other IT teams and vendors to resolve any issues or requests that affect the site.
ELT (Executive Leadership Team) Support: You will provide customized and dedicated IT support to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) members at select sites, ensuring that their IT devices, systems, and applications are functioning optimally and securely. You will also assist them with any IT-related projects or initiatives that require your expertise and guidance.
Team Management: You will manage and lead a team of about 5 IT professionals (supporting the business at (Irving, Bakersfield and Carpentaria locations), who are responsible for providing end user support and IT services and solutions to the site. You will oversee their daily activities, assign tasks, monitor performance, provide feedback, and conduct appraisals. You will also mentor and coach them to develop their skills and competencies and foster a collaborative and positive work environment. You will also recruit, onboard, and train new team members as needed.
Change Management: You will oversee the IT change management for the sites, ensuring that all changes are planned, approved, tested, and documented before implementation. You will also ensure that the process is followed by your team and other IT stakeholders and monitor the impact of the changes on the users, systems, and security. You will also communicate and coordinate with the users and the site management about the changes and provide training and support as needed.
Network Projects: You will participate in network refresh and site commissioning / deomm / moves in the region, ensuring that the network infrastructure is updated, secure, and compliant with the company standards and policies. You will also coordinate with the network engineers, vendors, and site managers to plan, execute, and monitor the network projects and troubleshoot any issues that arise. You will also document the network changes and configurations and provide training and support to your team and the users as needed.
IT Onboarding and Asset Management: You will be responsible for providing IT onboarding support to the new users, such as setting up their devices, and training. You will also oversee the IT asset management for the site, which includes managing the inventory, distribution, maintenance, and retirement of the IT equipment, such as laptops, monitors, phones, printers, etc. You will also ensure that the IT assets adhere to the company policies and standards and report any issues or violations to the appropriate parties.

Pay Transparency:

The expected pre-tax pay for this position is

$66,100.00 - $110,200.00

Actual pay may differ depending on relevant factors such as prior experience and geographic location.
