In this role, you will be responsible for programming and operating CNC lathes to produce high-quality parts that meet our clients' specifications. Responsibilities

  • Program CNC lathes using G-code and other programming languages to create precise components.
  • Set up and operate lathes, ensuring all machines are calibrated and functioning correctly.
  • Monitor production processes and adjust settings as necessary to maintain quality standards.
  • Inspect finished products for accuracy and adherence to specifications using measuring tools.
  • Collaborate with other team members to optimize machining processes.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety protocols.
  • Document production data and report any issues or discrepancies to management.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining preferred.
  • Proven experience as a CNC lathe operator/programmer.
  • Strong understanding of G-code programming and CNC machine operations.
  • Familiarity with various measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) and quality control processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
