Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and work waist to shoulder. The employee is occasionally required to walk, bend, twist/pivot (neck/waist), and reach. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 70#. It is very seldom that the employee will be required to squat/kneel/crawl, climb stairs/ladder, work over shoulder, or work floor to waist. Performance Elements: The performance elements described here are representative of those an employee must perform in order to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee will frequently use a lathe, blue prints, and the use of measuring equipment including, but not limited to, calipers, micrometers, tape measure, CMM, and various gauges. The employee will occasionally use hand tools.
Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. A shop experience is typical in this position. The employee will work indoors and very rarely be required to work outdoors. On occasion, there will be exposure to noise.
