We are seeking an experienced CNC Swiss / CNC Machinist for a full-time Production position in Hudsonville, MI. This position requires CNC lathe experience, while CNC Swiss experience is strongly preferred and considered an absolute plus.Position Highlights:- Pay: $28.00–$35.00 per hour

• Experience: 2 years of CNC lathe experience required
• Shift: Flexible for Day or Night Shift
• Equipment: CNC lathes with Fanuc and Mitsubishi controls
• Schedule: 4-day work week

This position operates various machines while following established daily operating processes, including start-of-shift and end-of-shift procedures.## Key Responsibilities

Machining

• Load and unload machines.
• Understand and perform tool changes and tool touch-offs.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and adjustments, including tension adjustments.
• Complete and maintain the daily tool activity log.
• Meet production requirements.
• Leave machines RTG (ready to go).
• Complete daily and weekly maintenance.
• Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness standards.
• Cross-train within multiple machinery and processes, including CNC, Vertical CNC, Robotics, CNC Swiss, and Assembly.
• Train and work effectively with others.

Quality

• Apply blueprint knowledge.
• Understand and use basic gauges and measuring equipment.
• Understand the quality system and enter data into the Inspection System.
• Perform pan-to-pan inspections.
• Reduce failures by understanding failure modes and auditing extensively during processing.
• Remove daily scrap produced.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2 years of CNC lathe experience.
• Ability to lift a maximum of 35 lbs. repeatedly.
• Ability to bend frequently.
• Ability to stand throughout the shift.

Preferred Qualifications

• CNC Swiss experience is strongly preferred and an absolute plus.
• Experience with Fanuc and/or Mitsubishi controls is relevant to the CNC lathes used in this position.
