We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Technician 2 - Metrology Inspector to join our team in San Diego, CA. Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and calibrations of measurement instruments to ensure compliance with industry standards.

• PCMM Inspections

• Reverse Engineering

• Tool Building, Assembly

• First Article Inspection Reports

• Perform detailed analysis and documentation of measurement data, identifying trends and anomalies.

• Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and protocols.

• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve measurement-related issues.

• Maintain accurate records of inspections, calibrations, and repairs.

• Participate in internal audits and support external audits as needed.

• Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in metrology.

Qualifications

• Metrology Technician
• Dimensional Inspection Technician
• Portable CMM/Faro Arm Programmer/Verisurf Software
• Associate degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality assurance or metrology.
• Strong understanding of measurement principles and calibration techniques.
• Proficient in using measurement tools and software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
