Job Description

Temporary to Permanent Position: Period TBD after skill set assessed.

Will train on First Shift initially: Monday - Friday 7 A.M. – 3:30 P.M.

Second Shift Hours: Monday – Thursday 3:15 P.M. – 1:45 A.M.

REQUIRED:

PUNCH and Laser Operation experience; Minimum of 2 years

Maintain and Trouble Shoot (preferred: Amada) PUNCHES + Lasers for Precision Custom fabrication

Physically able to manually offload materials; Pulling, pushing, grasping, metal products between 15-75 lbs. with regularly.

Automation experience preferred / but will train.
Punch experience preferred / but will train.
Familiarity with nesting desired.
Knowledgeable/experience in changing lenses and conducting routine preventive laser maintenance.
Programming / modifying downloaded programs.
Proven ability to read and interpret prints/drawings to fabricate parts.
Ability to identify metals such as cold rolled, galvaneel, stainless, aluminum, etc.
High attention to detail and safety.

EDUCATION:

High school or equivalent

Formal Laser training preferred but not required / OTJ experience considered

Familiarity with ISO procedures /quality standards is beneficial.

Independence is necessary - as is the ability to work as a part of a team.

Standing, Sitting, Reaching, Bending, Stretching, Lifting to 75 lbs.

Pushing, Pulling, Fine tactical skills necessary.
