Location: Madison Heights, VA

Shift: Monday-Friday, 4:30 PM - 2:00 AM

Pay: $17-$19/hour (Based on Experience)

A well-known and growing metal fabrication company in Madison Heights, VA is seeking a dependable and motivated Laser Operator to join their team on 2nd shift. Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines to cut and process metal materials according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production drawings.
• Load raw materials and unload finished parts safely and efficiently.
• Monitor machine performance and make basic adjustments as needed.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards and tolerances are met.
• Use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and gauges to verify specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and keep equipment and work areas clean and organized.
• Follow all company safety guidelines and production procedures.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in manufacturing, machine operation, or metal fabrication preferred.
• Experience operating laser cutting equipment is a plus but not required.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring instruments accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
