LASER OPERATOR — LANCASTER, SC

Pay: $17–$21/hour, based on experience

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

1+ YEAR OF LASER OPERATOR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

We are looking for an experienced Laser Operator to operate laser cutting equipment and support daily manufacturing operations. Candidates should have hands-on experience with laser machinery, strong attention to detail, and the ability to read blueprints and work with different materials.

JOB DUTIES

• Operate and monitor laser cutting equipment
• Set up machines and adjust settings as needed
• Load and unload materials safely
• Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
• Verify material type, thickness, dimensions, and cut quality
• Perform quality checks on finished parts
• Troubleshoot basic machine issues and make adjustments
• Follow all safety and manufacturing procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 1 year of laser operator experience
• Experience with CNC-controlled equipment preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Knowledge of metal/material types and thicknesses
• Basic understanding of laser cutting and fabrication processes
• Strong mechanical and technical skills
• Ability to learn different laser machines and platforms

Experience with a specific laser brand is not required. Experience with other laser systems or CNC equipment is acceptable.
