Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

We are seeking Laser Operators to become an integral part of our clients team. Laser Operators perform tasks that are essential to our production processes.

Job Duties:

•Set up and operate CNC laser cutting equipment to produce metal parts according to work orders and specifications.

•Load and unload raw sheet metal and materials into the laser machine.

•Read and follow blueprints, work instructions, and production drawings.

•Monitor the laser during operation and make basic adjustments as needed.

•Inspect finished parts using measuring tools such as calipers and tape measures to ensure quality and accuracy.

•Identify and report material, machine, or quality issues to the supervisor or team lead.

•Sort, label, and organize completed parts for the next stage of production.

•Complete production paperwork and record quantities and scrap as required.

Skills and Qualifications:

•Laser operating experience.

•Ability to properly set up and operate laser machines.

•Working knowledge of calipers, micrometers, and tape measures, etc.

•Proficiency with hand tools.

•Be able to lift up-to 35 lbs on a regular basis. Occasionally lift up-to 40 lbs.

•Be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
