Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable CNC Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC laser cutting equipment, reading blueprints, performing quality inspections, and maintaining production standards in a fast-paced environment. This position plays a key role in producing high-quality metal components while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and safety.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines to produce metal parts according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and engineering drawings.
• Load and unload raw materials onto the laser cutting table using overhead cranes or forklifts (if certified).
• Verify dimensions and inspect finished parts using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.
• Adjust machine settings and offsets to maintain product quality and efficiency.
• Perform routine machine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
• Monitor machine performance and report equipment issues to maintenance or supervisors.
• Remove scrap material and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Accurately complete production documentation and quality records.
• Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules and deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience operating CNC laser cutting equipment preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Basic understanding of CNC programming and machine controls is a plus.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Basic math and problem-solving skills.
