They specialize in high-end custom metal displays for retail environments, events, and prototypes. About the Opportunity

As a Laser Machine Operator, you will be responsible for the setup and operation of high-precision laser equipment to produce custom metal components. You will work closely with the fabrication team to ensure every part meets strict specifications while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

  • **Pay Rate: **Up to $30.00/hr (Depending on Skills and Experience)

  • Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

  • Machine Operation: Operate laser machines (sheet and tube) using best safety practices.
  • Quality Control: Review drawings and nesting prior to loading; inspect finished parts to ensure they are within specification and free of flaws.
  • Material Handling: Locate and load raw materials; organize and identify finished parts by part number or work order.
  • Documentation: Log laser run time on nesting sheets and follow established metal reburn processes.
  • Collaboration: Assist with general fabrication tasks when lasers are not in use and coordinate with Shift Leads to ensure a smooth hand-off between shifts.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Technical Experience: 2+ years of experience operating Laser machines; 1+ years of experience specifically with AMADA Laser machines.
  • Blueprint Reading: Proven ability to interpret complex blueprints, including architectural and shop drawings.
  • Detail Oriented: Sharp eye for detecting errors between drawings and raw/finished parts.
  • Professionalism: Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to work professionally with co-workers and clients.
  • Self-Motivated: Ability to problem-solve, multi-task, and remain productive with minimal supervision.
