Laser Machine Operator – 1st Shift

High Point, NC

Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM

We are seeking an experienced Laser Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team in High Point, NC. This position is responsible for operating, maintaining, and optimizing laser cutting equipment in a metal fabrication environment.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with laser cutting machines, be comfortable reading blueprints and work instructions, and possess strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Operate laser cutting machines safely and efficiently
• Load raw material sheets into laser machines
• Unload and inspect finished laser-cut parts
• Change cutting head components and consumables as needed
• Make machine adjustments to optimize cutting performance and quality
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work instructions
• Perform basic inspections using measuring tools and gauges
• Monitor machine operation and identify maintenance or quality issues
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all company safety and quality procedures

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating laser cutting machines required
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience in a metal fabrication or manufacturing environment
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
• Ability to use measuring tools and perform quality inspections
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to lift materials and stand for extended periods

Schedule:

• 1st Shift
• Monday–Thursday
• 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Pay:

• $18.00–$24.00/hour depending on experience
