About the Role:

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience operating laser cutting or engraving machinery in a manufacturing environment.
Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems related to laser equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in laser operation or related technical training.
Experience with CNC programming and operation.
Familiarity with CAD software for interpreting design files.
Knowledge of materials commonly processed with laser technology, such as metals, plastics, and composites.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on laser machinery.

Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and monitor laser cutting and engraving machines according to job specifications and safety protocols.
Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to ensure precise laser processing of materials.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of laser equipment to maintain optimal performance and prevent malfunctions.
Inspect finished products for quality assurance, identifying defects or deviations and making necessary adjustments.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve workflow, resolve production issues, and meet daily output targets.
Maintain accurate production records and report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.
Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
