Now Hiring - Large Format Printer Operator - Specialty Sign Co.

We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and quality-focused Large Format Printer Operator to join our production team, with a primary focus on our roll-to-roll printing department. The ideal candidate has hands-on large-format print production experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to keep work moving efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Experience with a Canon Colorado printer, SEAL laminator, and ONYX RIP software is a strong plus. Candidates with experience on comparable large-format equipment and RIP software are also encouraged to apply.

Location: 1900 E. Queen Creek Road, Chandler, AZ 85286

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain large-format roll-to-roll digital printing equipment.
• Set up, load, and run vinyl, adhesive films, banner material, paper, and other roll media.
• Prepare and manage print jobs using ONYX RIP software or a comparable RIP platform.
• Operate SEAL or comparable roll laminating equipment.
• Monitor color, registration, print quality, and finishing quality throughout production.
• Use appropriate media profiles, print settings, nesting, and material utilization practices.
• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and basic equipment troubleshooting.
• Read and follow work orders, production specifications, quantities, and deadlines accurately.
• Coordinate with prepress, finishing, installation, and production teams to keep jobs moving efficiently.
• Assist with trimming, laminating, mounting, and related finishing as production needs require.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production area.

Preferred Experience:

• Canon Colorado roll-to-roll printers
• SEAL laminators
• ONYX RIP software
• Large-format digital printing and commercial sign production
• Pressure-sensitive vinyl, adhesive graphics, wall/floor graphics, and laminated products
• Color management, media profiling, and large-format equipment troubleshooting

What We're Looking For:

We are looking for someone who is mechanically inclined, organized, quality-driven, and comfortable taking ownership of the printing process. The successful candidate will be able to work independently while communicating effectively with the production team and balancing quality, accuracy, efficiency, and deadlines.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Capability to lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50–75 pounds with or without assistance.
• Ability to bend, reach, kneel and work with tools and equipment throughout the shift.
