Position Summary

The Commercial Construction Crew Member will work as part of a team completing commercial landscaping and outdoor construction projects. The primary responsibility will be performing general construction and landscape installation tasks as assigned by the Supervisor or Assistant Operations Manager.

Job Responsibilities:

• Safely operate company vehicles in accordance with company safety policies and applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
• Install plants, landscape lighting, and hardscape features.
• Grade and prepare topsoil, stone, mulch, and other landscape materials.
• Load and unload plants, trees, materials, and equipment.
• Dig and install irrigation systems.
• Install pavers, walkways, steps, retaining walls, and block walls.
• Complete projects carefully while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
• Operate power equipment such as tractors, chainsaws, sod cutters, Bobcats, and other equipment.
• Operate hand tools including rakes, shovels, saws, axes, and shears.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Experience Required:

• 1+ year of landscape installation or related construction experience.

Additional Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
• Must successfully pass a background check.
• Must have an acceptable MVR.
• Must be able to reliably commute to the Huntsville work location.
