Job Description

NOV is hiring at our Sand Springs location! The Laminator/Assembler fabricates or assembles component fiberglass parts to create finished product while maintaining all Quality and Safety measures. This position will involve hand fabricating or assembly of fiberglass pipe fittings utilizing wet resin and fiberglass material.  This position will involve sanding and cutting fiberglass pipe/fittings and assembly of fiberglass fittings.  

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operates equipment needed to perform job
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
• Utilize safe work habits
• Wear appropriate PPE
• Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines and procedures
•  Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines and procedures
• Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines and procedures
• Other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS 

• ​​Ability to work overtime and shift work as required. 
• ​Standing up to 12 hours daily.
• ​Walking up to 12 hours daily.
• ​Bending/Stooping up to 12 hours daily. 
• ​Repetitive Movement up to 12 hours daily. 
• ​Lifting (weights up to 50 lbs.) regularly. 
• ​Travel less than 10%​ 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS 

• Experience with measurement tools is preferred.
• Ability to pass a drug screen & background check.
• Capable of reading blueprints.  
• Factory environment with a large range in temperature changes.
