As a Sandblaster, you will play a vital role in preparing surfaces for finishing by removing contaminants, rust, and old paint. • Responsibilities will vary but most of your time will be spent in the sandblasting/painting department
• The shift is M-Thurs, 6am-4:30pm, 4 10's

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate sandblasting equipment to clean and prepare surfaces.
• Select appropriate blasting materials based on the job requirements.
• Inspect surfaces before and after blasting to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain and troubleshoot sandblasting equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Follow safety protocols and wear protective gear at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines.
• Keep work area clean and organized to promote a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a sandblaster or in a similar role.
• Familiarity with various blasting techniques and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in sandblasting.
