Job Overview:

The Infinera System SW and HW Team is looking for a General Support person who will be responsible for equipment shipping/receiving process and other administrative tasks. Hours : 8AM-12PM 20Hours per week
Key Qualifications

  • High School Graduate
  • Proficient with Office 365 applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple work requests and projects.
  • Able to lift up to 30lbs.
  • Background in shipping/receiving desirable

Job Description

  • Package electronic equipment / instruments according to packaging guidelines.
  • Fill out and process shipping documents.
  • Deliver to Shipping department.
  • Pick up packages from Receiving, unpack, and deliver to recipient.
  • Maintain inventory of received and shipped equipment.
  • Organize and replenish supply cabinets.
  • Other misc. tasks required in the general support of R&D lab operations.

The list of applicable countries in Country Group D:1, E:1 or E:2 may be updated by the U.S. government from time to time. The current processing time for an export control license is approximately 4 to 6 months.

Your employment or engagement with Infinera shall be contingent on verifying your eligibility or requirement for obtaining a necessary license and/or authorization from the appropriate agency. You will be required to provide certain information for export control compliance assessment purposes, and your information will be reviewed by Infinera's hiring and export control teams to ensure compliance with the U.S. export control laws and regulations. Infinera will collect necessary documents (such as proof of citizenship etc.) to assess license/authorization requirements if you are offered and accept the position.”
