The Opportunity

This position works out of our Plymouth, MN location in the Structural Heart Medical Device division. Our business purpose is to restore health and improve quality of life by designing and providing device and management solutions for treating structural heart disease. This role is an individual contributor that works under limited supervision, supporting the packaging lab at our Plymouth facility.

What You’ll Work On

• Testing samples per released Abbott test methods.

• Reviewing other technicians work before sending results to internal partners.

• Responsible for the calibration of lab equipment.

• Setting the testing schedule based on priority and need.

• Responsible for the inventory and retention of sample that the lab tests.

• Record retention of quality records.

• Communication with internal partners about status of test requests.

• Activities include setting-up, calibrating and operating machines and equipment, following production schedules and quality standards, monitoring production processes, and troubleshooting production problems.

• Troubleshoots and resolves technical problems from the product line/process to minimize reject levels

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; associates' degree preferred.

Minimum 2 years technician, lab, or production experience required.
