Job title: Lab Technician

Department: Validation Test Engineering 

Job Function: OEM Product Development

Job Overview:

The Validation and System Test team are looking for a Lab Technician to join our team. Responsibilities will include board and system level testing and unit validation. The Lab Technician will help install SW and develop code to test unit at bring up and validate system as we progress. This is a product validation and system test validation position requiring thorough background in developing high end systems including test validation automation. This position will report to the director of validation and system test engineering.

Job Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement SW solutions and Validate Unigen OEM products

• Work closely with validation and system test team through EVT, DVT test.
• Determine electrical, thermal/environmental and performance characteristics of a product.
• Determine and propose requirements for test automation.
• Identify test gaps and improve test infrastructure for AI products.

2. Develop and maintain product validation and system test documentation

• Establish and Develop test reports and test requirements documentation.
• Develop and deliver Software and automation Firmware documentation.
• EVT/DVT SW release package test programming and checksum verification instructions
• Write SW technical test requirements to minimize test time execution. 

3. Provide technical support on lab mass production preparation.

• Performing some rework at board bring-up time
• Maintain the lab cleanliness and readiness for test and support.
• Assist with mass production requirements and tests.
• Test execution and provide test reports. 

Required Education and Work Experience:

• BS computer science or BS Electrical engineering degree
• 1+ years of experience in product test development 
• Experience in technical requirement and documentation.
• Experience with system test EVT/ DVT is a plus.
• Experience in Java, Python, MySQL, HTML, Linux
• Experience with Jira and confluence is a plus.
