Hexcel is currently seeking a Lab Technician for our Decatur, AL, USA location.

The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:

• Conducting chemical and physical testing in the Plant Analytical Laboratory. Duties include testing of plant samples, mixing of chemicals, and maintaining documentation
• Perform instrument calibration/verification and basic maintenance of laboratory instrumentation
• Record all testing data parameters required, maintain laboratory records on incoming, in-process and final results, and ensure data integrity
• Maintain basic statistical process control charts where required
• Support other elements of Quality System as required

Qualifications:
• Minimum of one (1) year of college level chemistry
• Three (3) years of relevant lab experience preferred
• Experience in a continuous manufacturing environment preferred
• High School Diploma or GED
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
