Holland Sharpe is looking to add a Lab Technician to our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established team with a great work culture.

Pay: $21.66/hr (Days) | $23.41/hr (Nights) Location: Clarksville, TN

**Shift: **3rd shift (6pm - 6am)

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, calibrate, and operate laboratory equipment and instruments
• Test raw materials, chemical solutions, and manufactured steel cord products for conformity to specifications
• Perform physical, chemical, and instrumental analysis daily, including titration and pipetting
• Test solutions used in plating and wire drawing processes
• Identify and quantify impurities and elemental content in steel cord samples
• Record test results on standardized forms and prepare written test reports, graphs, and charts
• Prepare chemical solutions according to standard formulas
• Clean and sterilize laboratory equipment

Qualifications

• Strong math and analytical skills
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with ability to generate daily reports
• Experience in quality control and/or SPC a plus
• Must be available for a 12.5-hour rotating shift (Days: 6AM–6PM | Nights: 6PM–6AM); this is primarily a night shift position, though candidates must be open to days as business needs change; initial training will be conducted on days
