JOB DESCRIPTION: Employee is responsible for assembly and test
of Lab water systems and accessories according to both Aries Operating and Quality
procedures.
Employee is responsible for maintaining a safe, clean,
organized work environment.
Primary Responsibility
· Manufacture large and small water Aries systems according to controlled production assembly procedures.
· Work with Manager or Supervisor to maintain proper inventory levels of system components and completed finished products on inventory shelves.
· Work with Engineering in the development of new assembly processes, products, and procedures.
· Trouble shoot incoming system returns with guidance from Quality Assurance, Engineering or Manager.
· Communicate with Customer Service, Quality and Engineering regarding production schedule, quality concerns and areas for improvement.
· Work with Purchasing Agent to maintain minimum levels of raw inventory.
· Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
Secondary Responsibility
· If needed, fill in on production line, or complete misc. tasks as time permits, including mfg. of filters.
· Provide incoming inspection services on related inventory items and report data to Engineering and/or Quality Assurance.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
· High school Diploma or Equivalent
· Prior Electro-mechanical assembly experience preferred; assembly of devices, systems etc.
· Soldering experience or certification is a plus
· Ability to read and interpret work instructions, engineering drawings and/or schematics
· Basic computer skills
· Must have excellent attention to detail.
Physical Requirements
· Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
Work Environment:
Employee will work primarily in the assembly Lab with some production floor and warehouse interaction
