Title: Materials Kitter

Reports to: Production Planner
Working Hours: Monday through Thursday, 6:00AM to 4:30PM, 30-minute unpaid lunch
Job Summary/Objective of Job
This position is responsible for receiving, storing, maintaining, moving, and delivering materials as directed following prescribed practices and instructions. Utilize ERP system to record inventory, analyze inventory accuracy, and investigate cycle count discrepancies to validate and correct inventory counts. Support of assembly operations as needed in various materials-related roles.
Summary of Essential Job Functions
- Replenish production areas with units to be processed.
- Removed processed units from the area and delivered them to the appropriate customer.
- Sort large volumes of freight.
- Physically verify multiple parts and quantities
- Identify and verify all new, reman, and internal parts.
- Perform the cycle counts daily along with corresponding ERP system transactions.
- Operate a forklift/picker daily.
- Sort pallets, plywood, and other necessary dunnage.
- Complete move sheets to accurately track processed components.
- Assist with shipping and receiving goods.
- Pick parts to kit carts of components for the assembly line.
- Dump scrap hoppers a necessary
- Cross-train in all areas as needed.
- Must meet annual training requirements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma/ GED
- 2 years of manufacturing/ inventory control
- Ability to operate a scissor lift, dock stocker, reach truck, and other material handling equipment – preferably forklift certified.
- Comfortable with computer use
- Prior ERP experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of products and remanufacturing process preferred.
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Highly organized and attentive to detail
- Ability to identify and verify all part numbers and good with inventory control.

Physical Demands
