About this role:
As a Carrier Kit Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of component kits used in the plant's production processes. Your primary responsibility will be to safeguard the quality and reliability of kits before they are issued to the production line, helping to minimize delays, reduce material shortages or surpluses, and support efficient manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of component kits used in the Carrier Plant's production processes

  • Investigating discrepancies, and contributing to the continuous improvement of kitting accuracy and efficiency.

  • Work closely with Inventory Control, Production, and other relevant departments to maintain accurate inventory records within the kitting areas

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 6+ months experience working with Carrier

  • Physical capability to perform the essential functions of the role, including lifting and moving items weighing up to 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Attention to detail - meticulous approach to verifying kit contents and identifying discrepancies

  • Problem solving capabilities - and the ability to investigate thoroughly

  • Organizational skills - ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate inventory records

  • Experience with inventory management software is preferred

  • Ability to accurately record and report findings, including inventory counts and discrepancies.
