Kettle Room Supervisor – Manufacturing

Location: Cranston, RI

Schedule: Full-Time

Pay: Competitive, based on experience

We are seeking a Kettle Room Supervisor to join a fast-paced manufacturing operation in Cranston. This position will oversee daily production in the Kettle Room while working directly alongside production operators to ensure safety, quality, efficiency, and production goals are consistently met.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities and ensure manufacturing targets are achieved.
• Monitor employees to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company policies.
• Train and support employees on production processes and procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflow and efficiency using 5S and Lean manufacturing principles.
• Verify inventory levels and ensure materials are properly accounted for.
• Work closely with the Manufacturing Manager on employee performance reviews and development.
• Assist with hands-on production duties and support operators as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience.
• Previous experience working with chemicals required.
• Strong math and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
