What you’ll do...

  • Perform safe operation of various production equipment, troubleshooting during the operation
  • Cooking and cooling beans in accordance with food safety standards
  • Monitor kettle and mixer machine operation throughout the production process
  • Set up machines, and changeovers as required
  • Follow recipes accurately, mix cooking ingredients, and consistently focus on product temperature, and product consistency for each recipe batch
  • Crush cooked beans to load mixers with the correct weight for each recipe batch
  • Responsible for monitoring product quality by maintaining required temperature check logs
  • Responsible for inventory check throughout the shift after each product batch is packaged and after all orders have been completed.
  • Stock inventory for the next day’s production orders
  • Responsible for supporting and maintaining Food Safety and Quality programs and practices to produce safe quality foods that meet regulatory and company requirements
  • Sanitizing machines, bean racks, utensils, production equipment and kitchen
  • Follow GMP’s and all safety guidelines, including and not limited to wearing all required personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Other duties may be assigned

What we look for...

  • Minimum two years of food processing, machine operation, and troubleshooting experience
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations, including fraction, addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication
  • Good organizational, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a routine basis
  • Good oral and written communication skills (ability to read and follow recipes in English in order to receive direction and process paperwork)
