We are currently accepting applications for a Junior Software Engineer in our Corporate Office on the East side of Madison, WI ranked the “#1 Best Place to Live” by Livability.com. This position will work first shift, Monday – Friday and report to the IT Applications Manager.

JOB SUMMARY 

This role is ideal for a candidate with some experience in software development and is eager to grow their skills in a supportive and innovative environment. You’ll work closely with experienced team members and contribute to projects that support our future growth. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize data-driven applications. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver effective technical solutions. 
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation. 
  • Learn and adapt to new technologies and tools as needed. 
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing. 
  • Maintain regular attendance 3 days per week in the office. 
  • Perform all tasks assigned by the supervisor, while following all company, safety, and quality policies and procedures. 
  • Maintain regular attendance at work and work after hours as needed. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. 
  • Approximately 3 years of experience in software development or programming. 
  • Proficiency in SQL. 
  • Familiarity with Microsoft technologies (e.g., Azure, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric). 
  • Dynamics 365 experience preferred. 
  • Angular development preferred.
