Job Description

We are seeking an entry-level Mechanical Engineer to support the commissioning and startup of two large-scale galvanizing lines

Responsibilities:

• Support commissioning activities, equipment procurement, and parts inventory management.
• Identify required piping, valves, fittings, and components, including sizes, quantities, and approved suppliers.
• Work alongside experienced mechanical engineers to learn industrial equipment operations and troubleshooting.
• Assist with diagnosing issues involving machinery, robotics, fans, pneumatic systems, and hydraulic systems.
• Support startup timelines and ensure equipment is prepared for safe, reliable operation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least one co-op experience in a heavy industrial, automotive, or assembly environment.
• Understanding of piping, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Previous construction or commissioning experience preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, urgency, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
