Creation Technologies is seeking a Junior Manufacturing Engineer to join our Milwaukee team. This foundational engineering role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to build their expertise in electronics manufacturing services.Executes MFG engineering tasks and activities under the direction of Manufacturing Engineering management.
Ability to work with and familiar with PLM and MES systems.
Ensures the translation of customer requirements to assembly and test processes by Managing Bill of Materials (BOM), document control, and validates routing; supports New Product Introduction (NPI) and Engineering Change Order (ECO) processes.
Engages in detailed manufacturing process documentation, including work instructions, as received from customer, and prepped for release to production floor.
Create Assembly documents, Bill of Process and SMT/AOI Machine files (use of CAM350, Factory Logix, or other MES and CAD/CAM software).
Generate, and support the control, and distribution of manufacturing process documentation including Process Plans and Procurement specifications.
Perform Design for Manufacture analysis with cross functional teams to internal and external stakeholders (customers).
Supports schedules for engineering projects, including coordinating tasks and resources for above schedule within the engineering team.
Participates in cross-functional teams to support manufacturing process improvements to enhance production efficiency and product quality.
Supports the review and update of manufacturing procedures to ensure they are current and effective.
Provides technical support to the manufacturing team, aiding in the resolution of engineering issues that affect production and prevent continuous production flow.
Monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyzes data to identify and resolve systemic process and performance issues.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Required Experience
Bachelor's Degree (4 year) in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, Mechatronic, or other relevant discipline) or a related field with a focus on electronics and manufacturing processes or equivalent industry or military training experience.
New graduates with multiple internships or co-op experience in a manufacturing or candidates with up to 2 years of engineering support experience in electronics manufacturing.
Skills Required
Ability to interpret a variety of technical documents such as wiring diagrams and drawings effectively.
Understanding of manufacturing processes and quality standards such as ISO9001/13485 or AS9100.
Understanding of the concepts of New Product Introduction and how to execute projects including supporting functions.
Understands and can execute Design for Assembly and Test tasks as required.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety guidelines.
Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Capacity to learn and apply new skills in a dynamic manufacturing services environment.
Awareness of IPC standards, Lean principles, six sigma and industrial ergonomics preferred.
Proficient in using Computer systems and knowledge of CAD/CAM and programming preferred.
Engineering project management and project leadership skills an asset.

Working Conditions
